
For over 50 years, NACM has been Manitoba’s leading Indigenous addictions treatment center. Since our humble beginnings, we’ve incorporated traditional Indigenous healing practices into all of our treatment programs to help our Relatives heal mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Please note that currently, we are not offering overnight stays. We are aiming for the new year to re-open the overnight programming – stay tuned. This is due to some of the challenges of the global pandemic and restrictions.
The In-House Healing program is a 5-week cycle that entails Traditional Indigenous Practices, self-discovery, and empowerment. It focuses on healing from trauma and addiction with love, strength, and power.

Upon successful completion of NACM 5-week In-House Healing Program and/or completion of any other addiction treatment program within the last 6 months, you can register for our recovery & follow-up care. Follow-up care builds capacity in our participants with group sessions. Smart Recovery is abstinence-orientated that is self-empowering and creates mutual support meetings. It focuses on learning coping skills, self-awareness, and change for the short-term and long-term journeys to recover. Traditional Indigenous Healing practices and land-based activities are at the core of the recovery & follow-up care program.
To apply for our In-House Healing Program, please download and complete a referral package and submit it to Intake at intake@nacm.ca.
We prioritize referrals from, Detox, HSC (Health Sciences Center), Courts/Lawyer, CFS (Child and Family Services), EIA (Employment and Income Assistance), AFM (Addictions Foundation of Manitoba), or any other outside agency or community organization.
If you are applying for yourself and do not have a referral source, please call intake at (204) 586-8395 to book an assessment.
*All participants are required to be abstinent 7 days prior to attending their first day of programming.
*The Covid-19 Participant Protocol should be signed and submitted with the referral form.
*Medical assessments can be taken to your family doctor or walk-in clinic.
